The book can be used with both parents and teachers through joint reading or as an independent learning tool.

What Worries?
is a picture book aimed to help children who experience anxiety. The book provides an interactive experience where kids can write down their thoughts and worries. The aim of the book is to allow children to share their emotions with parents and to help them understand the symptoms of anxiety.

The number of anxious primary school

children in education is rising with 66%

of UK children experiencing anxiety. This percentage is excepted to me larger but with children not fully understanding the concept, few individuals talk to parents.

This book provides a safe place to learn about worries and helps children to cope with anxiety.

The book achieves this by using engaging characters associated with specific symptoms of anxiety. Each one is followed by anxiety which is represented by a cloud. These characters eventually join together to find out that sharing their emotions is the best way to shrink their individual worries.

After providing a conclusion to the narrative, the book contains an interactive page where the child can write down any thoughts and worries they might have.
